About us
What started as a way to prepare my son for school,making learning fun, relatable, and reflective of who he is—quickly became something deeper.
At first, I just wanted to give him a head start. I wanted to build up children who looked like my son,children who deserved to see themselves in the pages they turned. But as I created for him, I started uncovering pieces of myself. I realized I couldn’t just pour into my child without also healing the parts of me that were still carrying wounds.
Leaders of Tomorrow Books became more than a business.
It became a mission.
One rooted in early education and emotional healing.
One that affirms black children, while also holding space for the adults raising them to grow too.
Here, we believe the inner child matters just as much as the child in your home or classroom. The tools I’ve created,whether workbooks, journals, or guided reflections—are all rooted in that truth.
