Our Story

Leaders of Tomorrow Books began with my son.

I wanted to teach him the basics—his letters, numbers, shapes—but I also wanted him to see himself reflected in what he was learning. I wanted him to know he mattered, that he belonged, and that he was capable of greatness. So I created workbooks that centered black children—boldly, intentionally, and with love.

But as I sat with him, teaching and guiding, I realized something deeper: I was reparenting myself too.

This journey showed me that it’s not just about teaching our children—it’s about healing the child within us so we can show up whole, patient, and present. That’s where the journals came in. My own healing, growth, and emotional honesty became just as important as the tools I was creating for kids.

Leaders of Tomorrow became more than a brand. It’s now a mission. A movement. A reflection of layered healing—for the child in your arms and the one inside your heart.

Our Mission

At Leaders of Tomorrow Books, our mission is to educate and empower the next generation—while guiding parents, educators, and caregivers through the healing and unlearning necessary to support them. We believe that to raise whole, confident children, we must first nurture the child within ourselves. Our holistic tools bridge learning and emotional growth, building strong foundations for both the young and the grown.
